Established in 2025, Talente is a sportswear brand, based in Manchester, built to meet the physical performance needs of athletes. We create sport-specific clothing that blends innovative design with sustainable materials. By prioritising functionality, comfort, and style, we make sure our customers feel confident and ready to perform at their best, whether they’re training or competing.

Meet the Founder

As a child, Beatriz just wanted to play football with other kids who loved the game. But she never felt like she could join in. Not just because she was a girl, but because the sport itself felt exclusive to boys. From the TV screens to the news, from the posters to the sportswear shops, it felt like football wasn’t for her.

When she finally joined her first team, she was the only girl. The kit she was handed? Tailored for boys. Again, it signalled: “You don’t belong here.” She felt like an outsider in her own sport. Like she was the only girl in the world facing this.

Years passed, and nothing changed. Eventually, the weight of it all became too much. She gave up the sport entirely.

But then, in high school, everything shifted. For the first time, she had the chance to play football with other girls. Relief washed over her. She no longer had to hide. She no longer had to feel like an outcast. She got back on track toward her childhood dream of going pro.

And yet, even after all of that, the world hadn’t changed. She was still handed men’s kits. Still made to feel like her love for the sport wasn’t enough to be seen, valued, or taken seriously. It almost felt worthless to play as a woman.

So she built Talente.

To acknowledge the value of what it means to love, to play, and to fight for sport, regardless of sex.

In football, the badge you wear represents the team you belong to. For men, everything else is tailored to help them win for that badge. So why should it be any different for women? We love the same game. We play the same sport. We deserve the same conditions to perform at our best. We all deserve to feel like we belong.
